Pilates
There is a growing number of Cowboys and Cowgirls opening their eyes to the benefits of Pilates for preventing and responding to certain types of injuries as well as general strength / flexibility. Our resident physio John Wiley has been banging on about it for years in fact, well ahead of the game! Kev has been in touch with a local instructor regarding a specific pilates-for-football course and this is due to begin in early May, running every Thursday at 6pm for 6 weeks. The venue is the Bristol Movement Space in St George and the cost is £7 per session with a commitment to the full 6 week course. Amy is not only a qualified instructor but has also been employed by a number of high profile professional football clubs to advise on the benefits of Pilates, so you will be i very good hands. Spaces are limited and a few people have already signed up, so please get in touch with Kev asap if you would like to be involved.
Hamburg Update
There is still time for Cowboys and Cowgirls to join the trip to Hamburg in May for the Antira football tournament. The tournament is organised by the fans of the (in)famous FC St Pauli and involves two days of football, a day of optional talks and city tours, and lots of beer drinking and partying until the small hours. Dates are May 30th – June 1st although most people are flying out at least one day before / after. there might even be a car space or two. If you want any more info please get in touch with Kev.

There is a viewing gallery and lifts can be arranged. watch 3 games of cricket, catch the indoor cricket bug and see us win! Let me know if you are interested. Details to follow.
