LIKE THEM!
You have to like a game where team mates can find the time in the middle of play to high-5 one another. But where is the ball, three players are looking in the same place and the fourth seems more interested in the oposition’s breasts. Or perhaps the glad handing is just a diversionary tactic and the Wing Defence has the ball. Maybe some one turned on their car radio too loud and Staying Alive was playing. But the most likely answer is that Wing Attack has just stated that the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the square of the other two sides, Wing Defence disagreed and so our too players have made a triangle to prove the point and therefore win the game… or have I got the rules of Netball completely wrong and they have absolutely nothing to do with trigonometry?

Next Tournament Meeting
Be there.
Tournament Fundraiser – End Of Season Party
***CANCELLED
Kings Square Art Space, Sat 21st April, 8:00-whenever
A few bands, and a few tunes to mark the end of the Downs League season, and my birthday.
If we beat Sneyd and get promoted, I’ll be drunker than Paul Merson on payday.
MESSI – Cowboy-sympatico Bristol hip-hop and hardcore. But not at the same time.
THE BREAK OUT – Bristol Rock – from Wigs to Weasels.
PIGGY – on the decks.
+ some more to be confirmed
It’s also a fundraiser towards the Cowboys/Cowgirls tournament in August, so although it’s free to get in, if people could donate a couple of quid on the door to the club that’d be great.
Hopefully see you all there.

Berrow Site Report
Scott reports thus:
- Just some news on the site for everyone.
- On Wednesday last week a group of us went on a site visit and this is what we found:
- There is enough room for
- two full size 11 a side pitches
- 2/3 seven a side pitches
- A full size cricket pitch
- The netball court
- There is room for cack (enough room for a little football pitch and a play area) the cack space is close to the village hall so if we suffer with weather the kids are not to far away from a dry space.
- The camping field is huge and we were told that it was 9 acres in total.(plenty of room)
- The changing rooms are brand new and the village hall is also brand new with a massive space near the bar.
Problems are the walk from the pitches to the camping field it is short walk along the road that has some drainage ditches (a bog snorkelling competition has been suggested) along it. I think the road needs to be well lit with please go slow signs(hand painted) and some sort of fencing along the ditch to stop people falling in.
There is a small caravan park near the camping site that may have some caravans for hire.
So the inviting of the teams and the proposed structure of each tournament can now start.

So it is true. The Sunday Team have folded after their exit from the GFA Cup and their remaining fixtures have been awarded to the opposition. But will the phoenix rise from the ashes? There is a rumour that, even as I write this, Eddy if dusting off his cape and pulling his underpants over his tights. If ever the Sundays needed a second coming from the ‘Special One’ it is now.
Cricket Force
This is where everyone (EVERYONE) straps on their tool belts and grabs a paint brush and heads down to Frenchay Cricket Club to help get it ready for the coming season.
