Netball: The A’s had a convincing win 30-13 with Mare getting nominated player by them and Mare, Ninja and Lou from us. The Too’s lost 11-46 with Cat getting voted player by them and Caroline by us.
The Saturday A team lost 1-5 to Torpedo
The B Team lost 1-4 to Retainers
The Suburbans drew 2-2 and then won 4-0 in a double header against Broad Plain House Res.

Netball – The A’s did not have a game. The too’s lost 32-14 to Sparks. Amanda got player from them and Becci, Jem and Rosie got it from us.
The Saturday A Team drew with Jamaica Bell 2-2.
The B Team lost to Ashley Res. 1-4.
The Suburbans lost only their second game in the league losing 1-3 to Imperial Saints at home.

The Casuals lost for the first time in 2 years losing 7-3 to Retainers. Chicken Licken, Henny Penny, Chicken Little your boys took one hell of a beating, do you hear me Chicken Little? DO YOU HEAR ME CHICKEN LITTLE? The sky is falling!
The Sundays brought a little light to an otherwise dreary weekend by continuing their winning run and beating Harvesters 2-4 away.
If you are a cricketer or if you like DIY remember that it is ground-force day at Frenchay. This is when the ground is prepared for the coming season and everybody who is going to play turns up and helps. Or if you are Ev you find out when Ground-Force day is and then book your holiday to clash with it.

Dear Futbolista y amigo de Nicaragua,
I am contacting you to see if you would like to enter a team for this year’s Copa Sandino. It will take place on the afternoon of SUNDAY 16th MAY at Ashton Park Secondary School, Blackmoors Lane, Ashton, Bristol BS3 2JL. Four five a side pitches will be marked out on grass with no rebound boards. This year again Ashton Park school is kindly allowing us to use their sports fields despite major building work going on. The Too’s have a close game but just lose by 4. Carline got voted from the and Cat from us.

The Cowboys and Cowgirls Kids Klub are starting up kids football sessions after Easter at the St. Pauls St. Paul’s Community Sports Academy, Newfoundland Road, St. Paul’s Bristol BS2 9NH. We will be running two 45 minute sessions on a Thursday afternoon from 4:00 to 4:45 for 6 – 9 year olds , and 4:45 to 5:30 for 10 to 12 year olds.
we want the main focus of the sessions to simply be the kids getting a kick out of playing the game, being part of a team, and developing skills. The sessions will be open to boys and girls of any ability, from the whole club. the cost of the sessions is £3 per child per session. If you’re interested or need any more information please get in contact with either Marcus or Paul C.

A fundraising night for Palestinian community projects in the West Bank linked to the forthcoming Easton Cowboys & Cowgirls tour of Palestine.
